Summer Reading Challenge Starts May 26!

This summer, Lincoln City Libraries celebrates 85 years of Summer Reading Challenges for our community. This tradition is rooted in our commitment to promoting literacy, lifelong learning and a love of books and reading. All ages are invited to participate and share in the joy. Registration begins May 26 and the challenge runs through July 31. To register, visit lincolnlibraries.org/summer-reading-challenge, any library location or download the Beanstack app.

Donations of books and other materials are accepted on Saturdays only . Space available for donated materials is limited as are volunteers to sort donated materials; please check with the specific library location before bringing materials to donate.

The Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection is a full-text resource for psychologists, counselors, researchers and students. It provides hundreds of full-text psychology journals, and has a strong emphasis in child and adolescent psychology and counseling.

Storytime-To-Go kits

Lincoln City Libraries now provides take-home reading and activity kits for Lincoln's young readers. Storytime-To-Go kits are for children ages 3 to 7 and contain five books, a beginning and ending song, a rhyming activity, and a list of theme-related books. Some kits include a coloring sheet or other activity.

Storytime-To-Go kits can be requested by calling a branch library or by this online form.
